Dave Balmer

Bio

An alum of Yahoo! and Hewlett Packard, Dave wrote his first program at age six. He's been working as a software engineer since 1983 and as a web developer since 1994. A fan of many computer languages, Dave has been fixated on JavaScript as a serious application language since 2004. He is the creator of "Jo", an early mobile HTML5 application framework. Dave is the developer of several HTML5 apps, contributor to PhoneGap, speaker and HTML5 development advocate. A life-long programmer, software architect and technology influencer, Dave also dabbles in design and lives with his family in Phoenix.
