Bio

Jim Tisdall was a systems manager at the Human Genome Project, a programmer and Member of Technical Staff at Bell Labs Acoustical Principles Research Laboratory, and a bioinformatician at DuPont, Mercator Genetics, and Fox Chase Cancer Center. He taught the course Programming for Biology at Cold Spring Harbor Laboratories for nine years. He has a B.A. in mathematics from the City College of New York, and was a fellow in computer science at the University of Michigan and the University of Pennsylvania.
