Bio

I'm an experienced JNCIA, JNCIS and dual CCNP certified Network Security Engineer for a tier 1 Service Provider working in the north of England. I began my IT career in 1994 working with Apple Macintosh computers, progressing to Microsoft Windows and IBM PC's, later supporting MS SQL and then Linux. My network career really started around 2008 when I wanted to find out what a VLAN was and I've been enthusiastic about all things network ever since. Outside of IT, I can often be found at my local indoor ski slope either snowboarding or skiing. I throughly enjoy going to the theatre as I believe live performances offer more of a realism compared with films, that said, I do still like to go to the cinema too and am enjoying the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
