Bio

Valliappa (Lak) Lakshmanan is the Director for Data Analytics and AI Solutions on Google Cloud. His team builds software solutions for business problems using Google Cloud's data analytics and machine learning products. He founded Google's Advanced Solutions Lab and is the author of several O'Reilly books and Coursera courses. Before Google, Lak led a team of data scientists at the Climate Corporation and was a Research Scientist at NOAA National Severe Storms Laboratory, working on machine learning applications for severe weather diagnosis and prediction. http://aisoftwarellc.weebly.com/
